Images are mostly from original art, excellently reproduced, and the design of the magazine is simple and elegant,
putting the focus where it should be: on the artwork rather than the magazine's graphic design.

Sandy Kossin contributes his own autobiography, with introductions by Nick Meglin and Murray Tinkelman, and numerous illustrations. The Weird Tales cover art and illustrations of Hugh Doak Rankin are commemorated in the third spot.
