Born in 1947, Jiro Taniguchi started in comics in 1970. He has produced numerous graphic novels; worked in many genres: historic dramas, westerns, hard-boiled thrillers, animal stories, literary adaptations and romances; published in Japan, France, the U.S., and other countries; and collaborated with Moebius on Icaro.
This book was published simultaneously in Japan and France (but not in the United States).
