Delaware Art Museum - Located in Wilmington, DE, not far from the spot where Howard Pyle taught his students and where Frank Schoonover established his studio (which is still open), is this depository of illustration art.

Brandywine Museum - Located in Chadds Ford, PA (not far from Wilmington) is this art museum with a permanent gallery of N.C. Wyeth paintings and another permanent gallery of illustration artwork. The Brandywine also gives tours of N.C. Wyeth's house and studio.

Harvey Dunn - South Dakota - The South Dakota Art Museum keeps its Dunn paintings on display online.

Rockwell Kent - The Rockwell Kent Gallery of the Plattsburgh Art Museum, in upstate New York, contains the most complete collection of Kent's work in the US. It is a trek but well worth the trip if you are a fan of this artist.

Norman Rockwell Museum - Located in beautiful Stockbridge, Massachusetts, this museum mounts magnificent exhibitions of different illustrators every year including J.C. Leyendecker and Al Parker.

Abbott Thayer - The Smithsonian's website devoted to this turn-of-the-century romantic painter.

Schoonover Studios - Dedicated to Frank Schoonover and other students of Howard Pyle.

Festival International de la Bande Dessinée - Europe's biggest comics festival held in Angouleme the last weekend in January.

Le Grande Ourse - This Belgian organization publishes L'Inedit magazine and sketchbooks.

The Drawing Club - This organization holds weekly themed model workshops in Los Angeles.

Terence Rogers Fine Art - This Santa Monica gallery is one of the most welcoming, friendliest galleries you'll encounter. They represent Michael Chapman and Patricia Chidlaw - two of my favorite contemporary painters.
