Since 2013, Stéphane Levallois has been entrusted with illustrating the first complete French translation of
L. Frank Baum 's Oz series.
Stéphane Levallois has made more than a hundred drawings for this project and, on the occasion of the release of the third volume of the Oz series, Cherche Midi had the idea to gather all the drawings made by Stéphane in one book: Oz, in order to show his work to the public, in a large format.
Stéphane Levallois was born in 1970 and lives in Paris. In 1988, he entered the Penninghen School of Graphic Arts. Concept artist and designer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 and 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Narnia 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kong: Skull Island.
He is also a illustrator for Jean Paul Gaultier, Prada ... and author of the graphic novels Noé (Les Humanoïdes associés), Le Dernier Modèle and La Résistance du sanglier (Futuropolis. He regularly exhibits at Galerie Arludik.
