The conclusion of this aquatic--and cosmic--adventure! This comic is bright, beautifully drawn by Fabien Mense, strongly influenced by Tezuka's 1960s anime and Miyazaki's Ponyo.
The first two books in this series were translated into English (in a digest size) and we expect this volume to eventually be translated as well, but if you, like me, are a fan of this series and fine printing, you will want to pick this up now.
From the publisher:
"For the good of humanity"
When Captain Spöring cannot be found despite his crew's search, Alfonsino, Penelope Sharpshooter and Duncan Dimanche find themselves stranded aboard a strange spaceship. They cannot imagine there, in orbit over the Earth, that they will find the answers to the questions surrounding the Alphas, those mysterious gods who had the power to create humanity... but who also have the power to destroy it.
Olivier Milhaud and Fabien Mense conclude the great odyssey Agito Cosmos! A jewel of adventure and inventiveness, filled with colorful characters and splendid drawing, inspired by the best of Japanese animation.
