Collecting the original Leopold and Brink issues #1 through #3 originally published in 1997 - 1998.

Leopold & Brink are a strange time-travelling couple in this philosophical metaphysical comic story by Christopher Alan Fink.

From the creator:

It's Leopold and Brink's 30th anniversary. Sort of !

Leopold and Brink began as a tortured teen trying to deal with being orphaned as a kid by drawing a tortured cyborg in the early 1980s. Running off to Hollywood to make eco-epic movies that would transform the world into one big safe, loving family, that teen tried to start the process by turning his cyborg into an animated short. Eventually, in 1994, the story of that half-robot became a college comic strip called Parallax, featuring a proto-Leopold dragging an early hominid through human history. That led to a mini-comic called Fit of Pique, where a primordial version of Leopold and Brink first appeared in 1995. In 1996, while considering graduate school with the intention of becoming an Ethics professor, Leopold and Brink was pitched as a dissertation: An ecofeminist redaction of Hegel's Philosophy of History. Soon after, Leopold & Brink #1 hit comic stores around the world. A little over 3000 issues sold.

This TPB collects the first and only comic books that were produced in that era. Leopold and Brink was never submitted academically, but the project consumed the creator for the rest of his life.

Leopold & Brink continues to this day in various forms. This book is where to start with their adventures.
