Description

There were always surprises to be found in Martin L. Greim's long-running fanzine. Greim had a knack for getting nice full-page drawings from both working professionals and rising talent who later became stars.

This issue starts with a cover by Jim Steranko featuring Greim's own character, Defender. Greim contributes a 19-page Defender story.

This issue also includes the first publication of an eight-page Steve Ditko Mr. A story ("Mr. A.: Chapterplay").

Gil Kane contributes a Captain Marvel pinup.

Other features include an interview with Joe Staton.

A letter from a James Hanley of NY is published in this issue.
