Kiraz was born in Cairo in 1923, but it was in Paris that he began his career as a cartoonist. At the request of Marcel Dassault in 1959 Kiraz finally left political cartoons and created "Les Parisiennes" for the magazine Jours de France.
Kiraz has always considered his work as a form of journalism. In fact, "Les Parisiennes" are a mirror of feminine behavior since the fifties. From the seventies, their fame has extended to numerous countries and the world of advertising.
