"This edition is given free to friends of Humanoides Associes and limited to 5,000 copies."
A first and only printing of this story. A special publication of Les Humanoides Associes in the same series as Moebius' "Monde de Tueur" (1979).
From the Humano blog:
This dustjacketed cloth-covered hardcover was offered by Les Humanoides Associes in 1980 to all their "faithful."
Le Rejeton de l'Univers, a collaboration between Jean-Michel Nicollet and his wife Keleck, is the encounter between classic illustration of the 19th century and punk of the late 70s. The book is full of references to the DADA movement, surrealism, comics, witchcraft, etc. The illustrations are splendid and the design uncompromising. Another monument of the Nicollet / Keleck couple.
