Thrillkill was Neal Adams' at his heightened realism peak. Appearing in Creepy #75 in 1975, the story was loosely based upon the real-life University Of Texas Tower sniper Charles Whitman who killed 13 people in 1966. Thrillkill was a watershed story, Adams' most realistic and naturalistic, and won multiple comic book awards when it came out.
