In just over forty years of a prolific and passionate career, Osamu Tezuka (1928-1989) revolutionized the manga, producing 150,000 pages and nearly 400 works. To the point of being attributed during his lifetime the title of "Manga no Kamisama": "The God of Manga." A pioneer of animation in Japan, Tezuka is the creator of Astro the boy robot and dozens of other heroes. He has worked in all genres of the manga, always expressing deeply humanistic convictions.
All the artwork is newly scanned in high resolution with color calibration.
