This is the first feature film directed by legendary Disney animator Glen Keane who has directed the short films Duet and the Academy Award-winning Dear Basketball.

Academy Award-winner John Kahrs directed the innovative Disney short Paperman, June, and the Google Spotlight Story Age of Sail.

Gennie Rim produced Duet, June, Dear Basketball, and Age of Sail, before Over the Moon.
