The sharpest copy of this set I've seen. Not even the usual shelfwear to the bottom of the slipcase!
Panic was the Al Feldstein-edited companion to Harvey Kurtzman's Mad. Feldstein would go on to edit Mad Magazine for 29 years.
"One of a box set of hard cover deluxe slipcased volumes reprinting the complete EC comics reproduced from the original artwork. The stories are printed in stunningly detailed black & white with the covers in full colour. The books are smyth sewn and deluxe bound to last a lifetime of re-reading."
Russ Cochran and William Gaines collaborated on the Complete EC Comics Library series to create the definitive reprinting of these legendary 1950s comics. The black & white reproduction is excellent and the large page size allows one to fully appreciate the artwork. The comic book covers are colored by Marie Severin (the comics' original colorist). This is the ultimate format for these groundbreaking comics.
