"This custom-bound sketchbook presenting the final pencils for the complete story of 'The Keepers of the Maser 4' is a limited edition of five hundred copies, signed and numbered from 1 to 500." Signed by both the artist Massimiliano Frezzato and the author Nikita Mandryka.

The introduction by Mandryka (in English) describes how he and Frezzato create the albums. It is followed by 92 pages of Frezzato pencil sketches and drawings including all 44 pages of Maser 4 in pencil form (occasional notes and dialogue in Italian).

The Keepers of the Maser tells a story that is a cross-pollination of Fantasy saga and Science Fiction adventure. Massimiliano Frezzato creates a world depicted in impeccable detail, from ecology to technology and biotechnology, all of which is in a state of deterioration that recalls a post-apocalyptic landscape.
