This children's book examines the life of sculptor-artist Wah Ming Chang, best known for his special effects sculpting of creatures and props for Disney films and the Star Trek series.

This children's book series "focuses on fascinating individuals who overcame obstacles to become success stories" and presenting "exemplary role models from diverse cultures.

Rubber stamped "Surplus Library of Congress Duplicate" and "Library of Congress CIP" also "Review Copy" the latter presumably stamped by the publisher.

This came from the collection of Steve Sherman, a writer,artist, puppet-maker, puppet-performer, and avid collector. Steve worked as Jack Kirby's assistant, at Filmation, and Sid and Marty Krofft, before forming his own company Puppet Studio in 1984 contributing to "Pee-Wee's Playhouse", "Men in Black 1 & 2", "Mighty Joe Young", "Muppets" and numerous other TV series and feature films.
