This copy belonged to animator T. Hee and bears his ownership signature in the center of the front endpaper. A very sharp, bright, above average copy of this Ronald Searle title from 1961.
Cartoons and drawings from Searle's world travels: "There are Searle's-eye views of the Americans and the French, the Germans, and inevitably, the Anglo-Saxons at home and abroad, all magnificently interpreted in drawings which may be 'read' for guidance as well as for a laugh."
T. (Thornton) Hee (1911 -- 1988) was an American animator, director, and teacher. Hee worked at Leon Schlesinger, Walt Disney, United Productions of America, and Terrytoons.
