From the publisher:
Behind the scenes of the 1960s TV series "Thunderbirds" is Sylvia Anderson, who co-originated the programmes and was the voice of Lady Penelope in the series. In this book, she recalls how the film-makers created the special effects, and discusses the success of the "Thunderbirds" and the International Rescue Team. It also includes contributions from the many stars who remember the Thunderbirds - including Roger Moore, The Rolling Stones and Cliff Richard - and photographs depicting the detailed sets, props, costumes and the mini-stars themselves.
