This 600-page post-apocalyptic graphic novel won numerous awards in its native Italy, including the 2017 Gran Guinigi for best series at Lucca Comics & Games.

Ut is set in a world populated by creatures of human form but with primordial instincts. The protagonist is a fierce and childish being whose purpose is to act as guardian of an ancient sepulcher.

Corrado Roi is a brilliant Italian artist known for his work on the series Dylan Dog. He can be considered the worthy artistic heir of the great Dino Battaglia.

His black & white artwork here is atmospheric and terrifying.

This is part 1 of 3.

From the publisher:

A strange and disturbing character, Ut wears a mask that gives him the appearance of a mummy. Capable of the worst horrors in the service of Decio, he haunts this unusual world in search of immortality ... for his cat.

The world of Ut, halfway between those of Edgar Allan Poe and Lovecraft, is dominated by Dr. Caligari who holds under his control a population desperate to eat...

This story of 600 pages is published in 3 volumes.
