Alfonso de Anda is an illustrator, designer and visual artist.

"Call Me a Fool is a quarterly zine put out by Alfonso de Anda in which, mostly through photos, illustrations and text, he documents his day to day. This book compiles the first year of the project. Vol. 1, 2, 3 and 4. ... [de Anda] currently works in an ephemeral studio in Los Angeles, Ca. where he draws and takes care of 5 dogs."

Volume 1 was an edition of 40 numbered copies. Volumes 2, 3 and 4 were editions of 50 numbered copies each.

This compilation is a 320-page squarebound book with plain white covers with stickers hand-applied by de Anda.

Alfonso de Anda, Mexican illustrator based out of México City with a strong inclination for communication and storytelling. I've taken part in projects that range from editorial illustration, animated series development and advertising campaigns to mural painting, clothing design and gallery exhibitions. Aside from commercial work, I focus on drawing, painting and playing music.
