Barron Storey is an acclaimed illustrator and instructor. The Marat/Sade Journals are a construction of Barron's journal pages, with a loose narrative thread, but the focus for me has always been the dazzling, intricate drawings on each page.

For this edition, the publisher has returned to the original Barron Storey journals and upgraded the quality of the printing, the paper and the binding giving it the look and feel of a real Barron journal.

New Introduction by David Mack and a very revealing afterword by Barron and extra drawings by Dave McKean and David Mack.
