21 is a huge 10 x 14 inch hard-cover art book showcasing the splendid fantasy art of Malaysian illustrator Zeen Chin.

“21” is the second original art book by Malaysian illustrator Zeen Chin. It is inspired by the creative journey of his previous art book “Rechild” and the urban legend symbolizing the weight of the soul as 21 grams. Zeen Chin, with his unique color style and oriental fantasy elements of ghosts and spirits, combines illustrations, comics, and sketches to depict the story of a young puppet maker, “21” who bravely pursues the dreams in her heart.
The artbook consists of 60 new full-color illustrations, 22 pages of black-and-white comics, and 22 pages of black-and-white sketches.
Zeen's artworks are painted digitally. He cites some of his early influences by Japanese manga artists like Akira Toriyama (Dragonball) and Katsuya Terada. Common motifs found in his artwork include supernatural imps/goblins (a nod to the popular Hong Kong zombie movies from the '80s/90s), visual elements of Shintoism, and Japanese period fashion.
Professionally Zeen is an illustrator for mobile gamemaker Applibot, including titles like Legend Of The Cryptids and Galaxy Saga.
