Wouter Tulp is an illustrator and character designer based in the Netherlands. His art school diploma, obtained in 2001, marked the beginning of his career as a freelance illustrator. Since then, he has worked as an illustrator for children's books, educational books, advertisements, and even caricatures. Gradually, he shifted his career towards concept art and has worked for studios such as Sony, Netflix, Paramount , and Skydance.

In addition to his work as a character designer , the artist teaches several online courses on character design and painting. He loves to paint and draw, and has never stopped filling his sketchbooks, a selection of which is presented in this book.
