A first edition of Mary Blair's second and best illustrated children's book. This was the only unabridged printing of this 42-page Golden Book. Little Golden Books were later standardized at 24 pages, so every subsequent printing has 18 pages cut out.
In my opinion, the first printing also has the best color reproduction.
This first printing is identified by an "A" printed on the last page.
