Haruhiko Mikimoto is a Japanese illustrator, manga artist, and character designer. He started his career with character design of animation series Super Dimension Fortress Macross. After that, he worked on many character designs for popular and topical works such as Gunbuster and Mobile Suit GUNDAM: 0080 War in the Pocket. His innovative and sophisticated character designs for many popular and topical animation series gained an overwhelming support which established his firm position in the animation industry.
