Brigitte Roka is an illustrator-designer studying Visual Development at Art Center.

This full-color oversize sketchbook presents Sonarium which follows the adventures of a traveling band trying to make it in a world where sound waves are harvested for energy, but making music out of them is looked down upon.

From the foreword:

Sonarium is a multimedia project that is inspired by my life as a musician, and draws from the culture, history, and spirit of rock and metal music. The project is currently in an early development stage. This book is a collection of initial ideation sketches, paintings and ideas for Sonarium, as well as some t-shirts and album art from my first lookbook for the project. As I continue to develop the world within Sonarium and the stories that take place in it, I hope you enjoy this art book as an introduction to what lies ahead.
