A vibrant adventure comic published in Mexico.

From the publisher:

A powerful titan from another universe lives trapped inside the most ordinary kid on earth. Together, they ll have to stop a dangerous conspiracy that aims to merge both worlds and wreak havoc on earth.

Almara brings us the first part of his dazzling graphic novel about duality, friendship and fortitude. Turbo Defiant is a fun, relevant and spectacular adventure, with an astounding narrative worthy of the dynamic illustrations, that definitely establishes him as one of the most talented upcoming authors today.

Dono Sanchez Almara is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1977 in Monterrey, Mexico. He began his professional career in the late 90's, working as penciller and co-creator of independent and underground comics in his hometown, leading to a break into the international comic industry in 2003.

He has collaborated as graphic novel artist for Capstone Press, Arcana Studios and Image Cómics in the US and Canada, as well for newspapers and various publications in Mexico and other countries. His work as digital colourist has left his mark in some of Marvel's most important titles such as: Avenging Spider-man, Uncanny X-Men, Deadpool, Venom, and in several titles of the prestigious publishing company Les Humanoïdes Asociés in France, such as FINAL INCAL, by Jodorowsky and Ladrönn.

He's founder of Protobunker, a Mexican-based international comic production powerhouse which continues its collaboration with some of the most important companies in the industry today. Finally in 2010 he begins Turbo Defiant, his very first graphic novel. Originally presented online in 2010 as an ambitious digital interactive graphic novel, Turbo Defiant was noted by renowned author Scott McCloud (Zot!, Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art) as "one of the new webcomics using navigation techniques that neatly sum up this interesting technological moment we're in."
