Raymond Ching (born 1939), also known as Raymond Harris-Ching and Ray Ching, is a New Zealand painter, best known for his contemporary bird and wildlife paintings.

This was Ching's second book and the only book to include his nudes, portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, along with his renown bird and animal art.

There are paintings in oil, watercolor, and gouache, as well as pencil drawings and studies.

There are 48 color plates, 51 black & white plates, and 7 other illustrations.
