This is one of only ten copies made of Walter Simonson's The Mighty Thor Artist's Edition Remarqued Edition.

The cover is an original pencilled and inked drawing of Beta Ray Bill signed by Simonson and dated 1-2-12.

Likely the smallest limitation of any Artist's Edition!

Needless to say, these rarely come on the market.

The Walter Simonson's The Mighty Thor Artist's Edition was released at the San Diego Comic Con, summer, 2011 by IDW under a license from Marvel.

The book contains seven of my issues of Thor with the art beautifully reproduced in facsimile form at full size, scanned from the original pages. In all, there are three editions; an edition for general release, an edition with a variant cover released as a SDCC exclusive, and a Remarqued Edition.

The Remarqued Edition was published with a piece of drawing paper fastened to the cover in place of the cover images of the other two editions. There are 10 copies of the Remarqued Edition. The plan was to do ten inked figure drawings on those covers. The entire edition of 10 copies have now sold out. The individual copies are each provided with a slipcase.

Both the regular edition and the SDCC variant are sold out as well.
