In the early 2000s, publisher Wandering Star sought to produce the most luxurious and definitive editions of the works of Robert E. Howard. They created two beautiful volumes of the Complete Conan before closing shop. This third volume completes the set.

From the publisher:

This is the third book in a three-volume set that covers all the Conan stories, textually restored and meticulously researched by Howard scholar Patrice Louinet.

Conan was the blueprint for the entire sword and sorcery genre.

Profusely illustrated with 13 colour paintings and 52 tonal paintings specially commissioned from award-winning artist Gregory Manchess. Gilt-edged book complete in Slipcase with embossed color plate and dust jacket. Signed and numbered by Gregory Manchess.

Contains the following stories: The Servants of Bit-Yakin, Beyond the Black River, The Black Stranger, The Man-Eaters of Zamboula, and Red Nails. Plus over 200 pages of never-before-seen material straight from the Robert E Howard archives: synopses, plot outlines, characters, initial drafts, original ideas -- everything Conan's creator ever wrote about the greatest barbarian adventurer of all time!
