A beautiful first printing of this Swords of Cerebus volume. It was signed by Dave Sim on the Los Angeles leg of his 1992 US Tour. Included is a photocopy of a flyer advertising Dave Sim and Gerhard's Los Angeles convention appearance on March 22, 1992.
This volume features two exquisite painted covers by Barry Windsor-Smith AND the first publication of the six-page short story, Cerebus Dreams, written and drawn by Barry Windsor-Smith!
Published between 1981 and 1984, Dave's six Swords of Cerebus volumes were his first attempt to collect the book in a more permanent form.
Collects issues 17-20 of the Cerebus comic book. Back-up story: "Cerebus Dreams." Done by Barry Windsor-Smith with no input by Sim, but with his full approval. The back and front covers are also by Smith. And chatty full-page introductions for each story.
