This first printing is signed on the title page by the artist and dated '09 -- the year of publication. The original owner went to Crumb's appearance at UCLA's Royce Hall on October 2009 (interviewed by Francois Mouly) where a limited number of books were signed in advance.
This book was released in October 2009 to great fanfare and this first printing sold out almost immediately! Signed copies are hard to find and dated in the year of publication even harder!
