For many years during the 1960s and 1970s, John Berkey created the paintings for the annual Texaco calendar. The theme is "Conservation and Protection of the Environment" and Berkey depicts scenes of wild America and animals in their native state: deer, raccoons, fish, geese, moose, pike, etc.
