This comic strip by Jean Giraud, aka Moebius, is an educational comic about how the International Red Cross was founded in 1859 to its present day humanitarian works worldwide. Text in French.

A captivating publication that traces the adventure of the birth of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, as well as its history to the present day. This comic strip is the work of internationally renowned artist Jean Giraud, aka Moebius. Aimed at a general audience, the illustrations present in a simple way the meaning of the Geneva Conventions, the universal humanitarian principles that underpin the Movement's action and the general activities carried out by its various components in their joint effort to help those in need. This publication is co-produced by the ICRC and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Une publication captivante qui retrace l'aventure de la naissance du Mouvement international de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge, ainsi que son histoire jusqu'à ce jour. Cette bande dessinée est l'œuvre de l'artiste de renom international Jean Giraud, alias Moebius. S'adressant au grand public, les illustrations présentent de manière simple la signification des Conventions de Genève, les principes humanitaires universels qui sous-tendent l'action du Mouvement et les activités générales réalisées par ses différentes composantes dans leur effort conjoint pour venir en aide à ceux qui sont dans le besoin.
