This deluxe 13" x 13" coffee table book on Disney's first animated feature, Snow White, is in the same series as Pinocchio and Mickey Mouse, but unlike the two prior books, this book was never published in English. Featuring visual development art, story boards, character sketches, layouts, animation drawings, cels and backgrounds. The frontispiece is a cel & background set-up. Four fold-outs. The color plates have a UV varnish to enhance the image and simulate an animation cel. Minimal text in French.
This copy has some condition issues, but this is the scarcest title in the series and difficult to find in any condition. The defects, for the most part, are to the exterior, the illustrations are unaffected.
Condition & Attributes
Very Good in Near Fine dustjacket (bumps to the spine ends, slightly creasing some of the pages at the corner, also the open corner of pages 223-236 have a light bent, otherwise the book is bright, new and unread) in a Good slipcase (slipcase has bumps to corners and is split along a seam)
