Kay Nielsen created a series of illustrations in the 1920s for an illustrated edition of "A Thousand and One Nights." But the book never materialized and the paintings were put away. This book is the first publication of these illustrations ever. A long personal remembrance of the artist and his wife precedes the artwork.
