Tommaso is inspired by comics and magazines of bygone eras, and various stories may emulate/parody Archie Comics, 1950s Dell humor, John Stanley, romance, giant monster, etc. It's wonderful wonderful stuff.
Black Phoenix Magazine is self-published by Rich Tommaso strictly for his Patreon backers.
