A beautiful copy of this oversize black & white edition of Blueberry Tome 22: Le Bout de la Piste (published in English as The End of the Trail).
The reproduction is excellent. The back cover reads: "De merveilleux dessins en noir et blanc, tout proches de l'oeuvre original de Giraud." ("The wonderful drawings in black and white, are as close as one can get to Giraud's originals.")
From the publisher
Blueberry boards the train bound for Denver. He manages to force a meeting with General Dodge, whose life he once saved, who is leaving to support Grant's re-election campaign. Our hero provides evidence of his innocence in the theft of Confederate gold and asks Dodge to plead his case to President Grant. But Mike, who is thirsty for justice, wishes to prove his innocence in the attempt on Grant's life. He succeeds, with the help of Mac Clure and Red Neck, in foiling a new plot against Ulysses, exposing the real conspirators, and thus obtaining his pardon.
