The second color collection of Frazetta paintings, published in 1977 while Frazetta was at the height of his popularity and actively producing masterpieces. This paperback includes Golden Girl, Moonmaid, The Huntress, Ghoul Queen, Combat, Against the Gods, 32 color plates reproducing 28 paintings, eight full-page and four smaller black & white illustrations.
This Frazetta art book series, conceived by Betty Ballantine, was a massive hit when it first appeared in the mid-seventies; the books went through dozens of printings spanning five volumes as well as a host of fantasy art books by other artists.
