Unlike previous models, our Head Structure was made different from others and in a unique way, as it has more specific planes of features and knowledge of anatomy. The standard proportions have been simplified to establish a process that is easier to memorize and apply to get consistent results. In addition, its size was perfectly designed to make it easier to travel, store, or use in any class or studio setting, and using the tripod connection any pose can be possible.

Version 2.0 thicker build and cut

After all these years, thanks to God, I have been able to do what I love to do most, as art has always been my passion. I was fortunate to have studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Thanks to my professors, I was able to acquire a strong foundation during my college years of study. Together, we studied and learned the structure of the human head using the Planes of the Head by John Asaro.

For over half a century, The Planes of the Head by John Asaro has been the best head model for artists, students, and teachers. In my 15 years as an art instructor, I have used the Asaro Head to model to my students the human head and faces. Over time, using Asaro Head as a framework, I would often add more in-depth plane lines to my work, which generated other proportions and dimensions to the existing framework. By doing so, my students appreciated the insights of drawing a human head. Therefore, with the strong encouragement of my students, my team and I designed a 3D model that entails new plane details and proportions of the human head, complementing John Asaro's original head model. The Head Structure was born from the inspiration of anatomy, my students and reassurance from supporters.
