A very nicely designed and produced resin statue of this early silent era animation star. Limited to 500 copies.
Koko the Clown was the star of Max Fleischer's "Out of the Inkwell" series. His success was based on Max's invention, The Rotoscope, which was used to trace his brother, Dave, in a clown outfit. Noted for their inventive combination of animation and live action, more than one hundred films featuring Koko the Clown were produced between 1919 and 1929, making him one of the most popular and ending cartoons of the silent era.
