"The sketchbook, for me, is a place without pretenses. Some of my favorite drawings come out of the sketchbook – they are wobbly and wild and alive. I mix techniques, Bleed drawings together, play with pattern. I often refer to sketching this way as my 'Loosey goosey sketch' phase. For this zine, I decided to get experimental: I scanned dozens of pages and then reworked them – first separating painted images for Riso, then collaging, drawing and erasing to discover new compositions. I hope to keep experimenting with this format to find new ideas. Come along with me, won't you?"
