A richly illustrated catalogue has been compiled for the sixth exhibition at MoCA, ' Covers, Adventures in Comic Art' . This unique catalog is being published once in a limited edition of 700 copies. Bilingual in Dutch/English. The deluxe hardcover edition, sewn bound – size 210 x 210 mm – contains 176 color pages with illustrations of 66 originals on display and extensive information about the covers by well-known national and international comic artists. The famous cartoonist Henk Kuijpers drew a beautiful illustration of the cartoon character Franka for the cover especially for the MoCA. Renowned Dutch astronaut André Kuipers is a great comics fan. He wrote a captivating foreword to this catalog, in which he writes: "For me, comics are history, humor, and art, and they fuel the imagination to experience the same adventures as the characters. Ultimately, this led to my actual adventures as an astronaut." Ger Apeldoorn, Arie Korbee , and John Asselbergs curated this beautiful exhibition and catalog. The book includes a small ArtPrint of an illustration created specifically for the cover by Henk Kuijpers.
