This is a collection of layouts and design material for the TV anime "Planetes", which was adapted from Makoto Yukimura's original manga and aired from 2003 to 2004.
Set in the year 2075 A.D., the story is about the recovery of debris generated by space development, and the realistic depiction of the debris during the show became a hot topic.
At the time of broadcast, layouts and design material and supplementary articles were serialized in the general modeling magazine "Model Graphix," and these have been re-edited and published in book form with new elements.
Shinya Ogura, credited with "Planetes" concept design and conceptual research, provides the text.
This is a must for fans of the original work and anime.
