"A Tribute to the Art of 1980's Adult Magazines"

From the introduction:

While in a rut with my personal art last year, I came across a vintage Playboy cover on the internet (the inspiration for the cover of this book In fact). I thought it was so ridiculous and so iconically 80s I had to try and recreate it. I enjoyed the challenge so much I started hunting for more old photos and used them as reference to practice my figure drawing skills, caricaturing and as a way to experiment with different styles of digitally finishing my work. Before l knew it l had these 20 or so images that l had no idea what to do with. l came up with the idea to make a retro men's magazine complete with real, vintage ads and articles from the 80s and 90s. My wife Emily, wanting a graphic design challenge for herself, volunteered to help me design and layout the images for the book. Everything you see that isn't an illustration or an actual vintage ad or article she designed and executed. We…hope you find It as good natured and silly as we do!
