From Peter Han's Kickstarter:

The Blacksmith's duty is to acquire the most powerful mythological weapons strewn about in the vast lands of ancient Asia. He retrieves these dangerous weapons for safe keeping and protection at his mentor's temple. Their potential destructive powers are far too hazardous to leave unguarded. His mentor, having found one such sword in the past, trains the Blacksmith on the deep history surrounding the lands and the weapons of myth within them. The mentor is the leader to a broken group of scattered warriors, vagabonds, and pillaged families. These lost souls seek safety and belonging after facing immense calamity and disaster. They are loyal to the mentor's vision and pursuit to save those who are seeking the same solace and guidance.

Hardened by his trade and driven by his past, the Blacksmith's determination to gain his mentor's favor gives him focus. Their bond is akin to that of father and son. The Blacksmith will carry out what is necessary to see his mentor's goal triumph, thus creating a better and safer world.

The Blacksmith's journey begins from the Turco-Mongol regions, his birthplace, and voyages to distant lands filled with treacherous landscapes mixed with supernatural forces. The Blacksmith has few allies. He will have to keep his wits about him and be wary of who he trusts as he ventures into these new lands.
