This copy of The Studio is still in its original shrinkwrap from 1979! The shrinkwrap has split open at the lower corner allowing some mild rubbing and wear to the corner of the covers, otherwise a new, unopened, beautiful, pristine copy; one of the best I've seen.

This is the famous and scarce monograph on the four artists who shared a studio space in New York and became known collectively as "The Studio": Jeffrey Jones, Michael Kaluta, Barry Windsor-Smith, and Berni Wrightson.

The book is divided into four 36-page sections--one for each artist. The emphasis is on their 1970s fine art style illustration work for limited edition prints and portfolios, most of which were only available as expensive limited editions, and many of which have not been reproduced since.

Jones, Jeffrey, Michael Kaluta, Barry Windsor-Smith, Berni Wrightson
