"Volage - A Chronicle of the Underworld" Here is Tony Sandoval's vision of Hell. This is likely Tony's most finished (slick) artwork of any of his albums to date.

From the publisher:

A man wakes up in a strange landscape. He is underground and the deep reddish light leave him in no doubt of where he is. This man is called Ian McGilles and he woke up in Hell. What did he do to deserve this? McGilles shares his prison with several other captives, all too accustomed to the place, who in short order introduce themselves. War criminals, historical figures and serial killers who have earned their place in Hell a hundred times over. The fugitives are Fegelein, a Nazi war criminal, Gesualdo, prince composer and murderer, Locuste, the poisoner of ancient Rome, Anne Bonny, the merciless pirate or Jack the Ripper, once accustomed to other slums. This disturbing group informs him of a project for which they want to recruit him: it is no more nor less than to escape from Hell. Leaving the depths and the labyrinths surrounded by lava, McGilles and his companions reach the surface and are chased by the guardian of the Underworld, one whose name is dangerous to even mention: The Render and his pack of rabid dogs. To escape him, they join a caravan populated by fantastic animals destined to be sacrificed. In a cage, a bird-woman catches McGilles' attention. Her name is Volage and she is ready to love him, even in this land of ruins and desolation. She is absolutely beautiful, and this fallen angel is probably her last hope...
