French Pin-Ups by Hubert de Lartigue circa 2000. Beautiful Photorealism.
Born in 1963, Hubert de Lartigue is a French hyperrealist artist. After studying graphic arts at the École Duppéré, the École des Arts Décoratifs, and the École Estienne, he worked freelance as an illustrator for advertising and publishing. In the 1990s, he specialized in pin-up art. He held his first exhibition at the Louis K. Meisel Gallery in New York. In 2003, he devoted himself to painting after meeting a model who became his muse. Since then, he has explored his subject, women, through three themes: the nude, the portrait, and details, primarily mouths. He works on canvas with acrylic paint applied using an airbrush, based on his own photographic references.
"I am a French painter. I am living near Paris. I use acrylic paint and ink on canvas with brushes and airbrush. I like to paint nudes, portraits and details of women."
