The Mad Special, later known as the Super Special, reprinted movie spoofs and classic material from the magazine, often accompanied by original stories and attached bonuses in the form of posters, stickers, recordings and comics. A parody of the classic movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, featuring art by Mort Drucker. With the story "New Musicals Based on Big Movies," Mad once again proves itself to be several decades ahead of the curve. Classic Lighter Side strips by Dave Berg, Spy vs. Spy, Marginals by Sergio Aragones, and early Don Martin cartoons. Includes Bonus Stamps and Stickers, pre-glued, perforated stamps celebrating Alfred E. Neuman's perennial appearances on American write-in ballots by announcing an actual presidential campaign, in a full-color, attached fold-out.
