One of my favorite cartoonists, Gluyas Williams was a master of crowd scenes as well as closely observed mannerisms. Over the years, he had a number of running series, unusual by being based on a theme rather than a character. Some of the series in this collection: The Inner Man, Raconteurs, Club Life in America, Literary Renegades, and more.
Introduction by his frequent collaborator, humorist Robert Benchley.
